In the world, R15 is a big name these days. Which is a great resource for motorcycle industry worldwide including Bangladesh. The best Japanese brand Yamaha first introduced its R15 bike to the world in 2008. Yamaha has been regularly updating the R15 bike after its massive success. Now as a part of this _Yamaha has launched R15 V2, R15 V3 and now R15M in the global market including Bangladesh. Currently Yamaha’s latest addition to the Bangladeshi market is the Yamaha R15M. The R15M is a sleek sports bike with the same attractive features as always. So let’s take a look at the Yamaha R15M bike key features and evaluation.

a. Firstly, the Yamaha R15M bike has an excellent aerodynamic design. which facilitates the entry of air. Also, the visibility of LED position lights is relatively high.

b. Secondly, this bike uses a newly designed bi-functional LED headlight. which has D-class brightness. And the newly designed aerodynamic front cowl with modern headlights gives the bike a sleek look at the front.

c. The new Yamaha R15M bike has a newly designed 37mm upside-down front suspension, capable of absorbing more shocks.

d. The latest Yamaha R15M bike has side-stand engine cut-off technology, which means the engine will not start unless the side stand is taken.

e. As usual, this model uses dual-channel ABS and the rear wheel of the bike is given a relatively thick 140mm radial tire. which supports the base for safe braking and comfortable riding.

f. The Yamaha R15M also uses a completely new design fully digital LCD meter console. It displays almost all important information including riding mode and phone notifications.

g. The Y_Connect app allows connecting any smartphone to the Yamaha R15M’s instrument console. Where call alerts, email and SMS notifications, phone battery level and app connectivity status can be seen very easily.

h. In fact, for the first time the Yamaha R15M bike uses a quick shifter, which is great for classless gear shifting.

i. The new Yamaha R15M uses the same 155cc, FI engine, LC4V, SOHC, variable valve actuation (VVA) and assist-slipper clutch technology.

k. Finally, R15M failed to innovate the engine in their new R15M version, which everyone expected.

Now, Yamaha uses 155cc engine in their bikes. which is a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve. The new Yamaha R15M is capable of producing a maximum power of 13.5kW (18.4PS) / 10000 RPM and a maximum torque of 14.2 Nm / 7,500 RPM. The fuel capacity of the bike is 11 liters and the weight of the bike R15M is 142 kg with fuel.
